About us

We are Geert and Mieke, your hosts and the founders of our company Alcara.

We are hikers and cyclists, and love local and organic food. When travelling, we always look for local specialities, art and culture and love to enjoy nature.

We live in the historic city centre of Bruges, together with our daughter, dog Fluffy and our black tomcat Boris. 

We aim for a personal and hospitable welcome, beautiful and clean accommodation equipped with all comforts.
